The 90 clips were released on GTA forums by a teenager named Arion Kurtaj who posted the videos on the forums under the name teapotuberhacker.  One of the major things that the players saw was the theme of a female protagonist named Lucia.

In some clips, Lucia and Jason were holding dinner, and in one clip, the male playable character Jason was seen in a metro train station. Moreover, the male player Jason was also seen in a nightclub and Lucia standing by the road. This takes us to the next question of what will be the location of gta6.

Although, there is too much unnecessary speculation about the maps we will cut right to the chase and tell you that the most reliable sources such as Bloomberg suggest that you will see the Rockstar’s fictional Miami “Vice City” in the game.

We can not say that this will be the only location. Some zones of North and South America were expected at first but now are rumored to be not a part of the GTA6 map, still, we are sure that there will be more locations in this series of Grand Theft Auto.

Lastly, let us see what is the background and story behind GTA6. The story of GTA6 is based on Bonnie and Clyde, two car and bank robbers bound by love and shot dead by officers in Louisiana in 1934.

There is no further mention of any plot but the developers are looking forward to writing less comedic lines and sparing the marginalized groups from jokes.

GTA6 News and Speculations About the Release Date

After the GTA6 leaks, the developers were persistent that the leaks did not affect the game development which is true because the leaks only suggested the pre-alpha state of the game. Therefore, we will not know soon about the complete version of the game.

As mentioned above, the release date is still a year or two ahead which is made clear by the latest development. But if you are wondering about October 2024 as a potential release, you must learn that the rumor was debunked as an AI voice.

However, Rockstar Gaming staff has also backed the release within the next two years. In recent Take-Two earning calls the CEO also cued toward 2024 or 2025 as possible release years by saying “The next year will include a new record level of operating performance”.

We do not exactly know what that means but according to our estimate and all crossed fingers are hoping to finally see GTA6 in the upcoming years.

Expected Platforms of GTA6

We can not make any conclusion about the platform yet but the most rational suggestion is, that GTA6 will be released on the Xbox series X|S or a PS5.

Judging by the previous release we also expect Rockstar to release a PC version of the game after some time but we are certain that the game will not be compatible with outdated platforms such as Xbox One or PS4.

GTA6 Possible Gameplay

The gameplay suggests two robbers as mentioned above named Lucia and Jason. The major cut-outs of the gameplay that the world saw in the leaked videos were Lucia firing at hostages, the two protagonists stealing cop cars, and shooting from the car using a rifle.

So the gameplay will be pretty immersed with controllable cars, boats, and many NPCs. The playable characters will be in full control to drive the car wheels. Chair angles and more.

The characters will also participate in any fight with more enhanced mechanics. For example, they will be able to cover their face to avoid headshots, crouch, and crawl. We think that all the wait will be worth it for this high-end open-world game.
